Steve Brunson, II, AFM
Steve grew up on a West Tennessee row crop and cattle farm. After graduating from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Agriculture Economics and Business Administration, he went to work for the National Cotton Council before beginning his career as a professional farm manager with Farmers National Company in 1987 and earning the designation of Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) from the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers. In 2001 Steve and his partner George founded Baird & Brunson Land Management Group, L.L.C. Also, Steve has owned his own farm in Sunflower County, MS since 1996, which gives him the personal insight to help his clients in the management of their farms.

In additional to his 18 years of providing professional farm management, Steve has extensive experience in land development and agricultural loans. He is a licensed real estate broker in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. In his personal time, Steve enjoys deep sea fishing, snow skiing and spending time with his wife Cindy and their two sons. They are active members of Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Collierville.

GEORGE E. BAIRD, IV, AFM
George grew up on a cotton farm in Sunflower County, Mississippi with dreams of eventually becoming a farmer like his father and grandfather. His course changed and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Economics from Mississippi State University in 1993. After graduation, George worked for Farmers National Company in Memphis, Tennessee for four years before co-founding Land Management Group, L.L.C. with partner Steve Brunson in 2001. Holding real estate licenses in Arkansas and Tennessee, George has represented land owners in the management of their land, as well as in the buying and selling of farmland. His wide range of clientele includes everyone from sole farm owners to large investment companies. A member of the “Million Dollar Sales Club” since 2002, George’s proudest professional accomplishment was achieved in 2006 when he was selected Farm Manager of the Year by Syngenta, Ag Professional magazine and ASFMRA.

When he’s not working, George enjoys fly fishing, hunting and travel. He, his wife Cari, and two sons are active members of Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis.
